Can you see in HD?

The technologies changes a lot over the past 100 years; not so long ago our pictures used to be black and white, also the TV. According to Wikipedia: the first permanent color photo was taken in 1861 by physicist James Clerk Maxwell and the first modern color film, Kodachrome, hit the market in 1935. Nowadays is possible to take a picture or see images on TV with an unbelievable quality. When we convey this example of evolution of technology to our spiritual life, we are taken to a deep reflection of our spiritual history and how much we evolved along of the years.
To illustrate, let’s say you saw Jesus Christ as a child, playing alongside Jose; what exactly you would see? The son of a carpenter or the Messiah preparing for a mission that would forever change the future of humanity?
The Bible gave us the precise description of Him as a man:

“2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath neither form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 surely he hath borne our grieves, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted”. (Isaiah 53:2-4)
Reading the book of Isaiah we get to the conclusion that he knew very well how Jesus would presented Himself between us. We can say that Isaiah was a man that could see ahead his time:
“5 But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he opened not his mouth.”
Nevertheless, we still can see people who cannot distinguish the directions in their lives. People who cannot make decisions because they do not know the difference between what is right or wrong, or even are still confuse about what is real blessing or course. For sure, lack of spiritual vision can take us away from God’s blessings, can impede us to see clearly the things the way they really are.
Do not get yourself overwhelmed wondering how would you update your vision because the Bible is like a GPS that indicates us the correct path to follow, exercize the habit of consult your Bible everytime you see yourself in the middle of a turmoil or even if you simply want a solution for an ethical problem.

God Bless you,
